M4S is an exceptional high quality, high power loudspeaker system for use in medium to large recording studio monitoring applications.
It has been designed to incorporate the well tried and reliable M4 low frequency section with the mid and high frequency section from the popular M3 series.
The bass section consists of four massive 300mm low distortion drivers, each of which has a ferro- fluid cooled 100mm diameter aluminium hexagonal section coil (hexacoil) with an internal vented long-throw magnet system all housed in a low reflecting cast chassis.
The mid-range section consists of two ultra high quality 150mm piston drive units each incorporating a massive 75mm diameter aluminium hexacoil and low reflection chassis.
The HF unit is the ESOTAR T330 designed to reproduce distortion-free transients of up to 1000 watts.
These speakers are normally supplied as an active two-way with a high quality passive network between the mid and high frequency sections.
